The Folden desk arrives fully assembled and ready to mount, complete with all required hardware.

We’ve prepared a step-by-step video that shows you exactly how to install it.

 

How much weight can it hold?

It depends on the wall material.

  • Drywall: up to 30 kg when mounted correctly
  • Brick or concrete: up to 45 kg when mounted correctly

(Load measured at the center of the desk.)

Is the desk varnished/oiled?

All of our desks are finished with a natural oil certified under UNE-EN 71-3, making it safe for children and free of VOCs.

Does the desk arrive fully assembled?

Yes. The desk arrives fully assembled in a large, well-protected box. All you need to do is mount it to the wall using the 3–4 screws provided (included in a small box inside the package).

Once installed, you can choose whether or not to use the two included inner shelves. The shelves rest on four support pins, which you simply tap into the pre-drilled holes inside each compartment.

Can the desk be customized?

We want you to be completely happy with your Folden desk. If a baseboard or a small size difference (up to ±5 cm) affects the fit, you can choose our custom length option.

Height and depth cannot be changed, as the desk structure is pre-built.

How does the warranty work?

Our desks are carefully made, finished, assembled, and packed, but occasionally issues can occur during transit. Here’s how we handle them:

  • Damage during shipping: If your desk is damaged in transit, we will either refund you or replace the unit. Please take photos of any damage to the box before opening it, as these are required as proof.
  • Folding issues: If the desk does not fold properly, we can provide a replacement part or a refund.
  • Stains and wear: We do not offer warranty coverage for stains, scratches, or normal wear. We recommend cleaning spills immediately and maintaining the natural oil finish over time.
  • Spare Pieces Warranty: Time passes, and accidents happen. If any part of your Folden Desk — like a shelf or door — gets damaged, you don’t need to buy a new desk. Simply contact us, and we’ll provide the replacement part through our spare piece warranty.
